Get the most out of your Photo Booth

Photobooth Tips and Advice

“Paired with a band as your entertainment package, this is all you need.”

Placement - Find the sweet spot.

Most importantly, make sure it is in amongst the action. It can be tempting to stick it in a corner somewhere out of the way, or spread your entertainment out right across the venue, but you may not get the best out of your booth. Somewhere right between the bar and the music is great. It will get lots of use and create a great atmosphere.

People will gather around the photo booth whilst they’re having a laugh, so be careful not to obstruct the bar, or a busy walk way.

Try not to burst your friends eardrums by placing it right near your band or DJ’s PA speakers.

Time - Somewhere around 7pm-10pm is perfect.

Give yourself some time for the dinner and speeches to run over, (they normally do.) 10pm - 12pm is the best time for the dance floor, so that’s where people will most likely be. After all you’ve carefully selected your musicians/ DJ for the evening, you’ll want people to enjoy them rather than pull people away with the distraction of other entertainment. At 7pm people have had a drink so you’ll have some great photos, but the make up hasn’t quite started running yet.

The photo booth gives some entertainment whilst the music is picking up, giving the whole day a perfect flow and that’s the time where you’ll get the most bang for your buck. Lots of great quality shots with your friends and fam!
