A look inside... The Barn at Alswick Open Day
Storm Dennis didn’t stop this bunch!
A beautifully wet and windy day spent at The Barn at Alswick this Sunday that didn’t stop our couples!! They were commended for their dedication with a glass of fizz on arrival which soon descended, followed by some good looking canopes supplied by Toms Kitchen.
The team had done a great job designing this barn, as it had been set up to envisage your wedding day with the venues rustic furniture being the star. It’s all about the fine details and we particularly liked the cocktail favours on their rustic table design, a nice touch!!
Their Light Up Letters drew much attention over on the dancefloor and the atmosphere would be epic once you add some people to this wedding equation! These were supplied from Light Up Love.
We were joined by many other fantastic suppliers including some exquisite music, the fine Toast Master John Ashmele, Photographers included Rafe Abrook and Wedding by Emma and Sam, Floristry from Two Girls and Some Flowers, our friends from B and R Dining and we had the amazing Angela HMUA.

We bought the fun with our epic photo booth for the day, rocking our blush pink backdrop. The Booth looks at home within Alswick and taking advantage of their decorative greens, we think this set up is the one!
Plenty of props to go around! And the winner for favourite prop goes to : BADMINGTON RACKET. A particular guest had become rather attached to this and genuinely felt a little sorry to take this away ;D

We love attended our favourite venues open days as this is a great opportunity for guests to come along and see your venue along with their recommended suppliers in action. A true encounter of what to expect, which come on, has to be pretty damn exciting!
