A look inside… Hockwold Hall, Norfolk

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Richard, the owner of this beautiful venue! Surrounded by 40 acres of beautiful parkland, this venue didn’t disappoint with its quirky additions that are sure to please any couple getting married here.
On arriving at their grand gates, I was impressed to drive around the statement teardrop driveway outside the main building as it oozed a feeling of elegance. Inside didn’t disappoint and I was particularly taken back by the character of the property, it had plenty of quirky elements which I think the guests will appreciate including this intimate darts corner.
Another bonus inside the main building was the bar in the basement. The hall is one of few that has a 24 hour licensed bar which ticks the boxes for us because what better way to finish your big day than to sit down at the bar with your best ones with a small glass of your finest tipple.
What an amazing marquee they have here too. The permanent wooden floor really finishes it off and I can’t remember being in one of such high quality. I would love to see our unique photo booth in here. And our hand made tables for that matter.
Outside there was plenty of games for the guests including an obstacle course which looked epic. Plenty of strolls to be had the morning after and your guests and you will appreciate the scenery.
I loved visiting this venue today and what Richard and his team have achieved here is very impressive. If you are interested in viewing this venue then I would recommend it as it is a winner all around from us.
